Ink and Imagination

I work with pen and ink, brushes, watercolor, fabric, and paper scraps to create layered works of art inspired by folklore and personal memory.

Meghan Rosing Art

My art-making is rooted in the practice of reusing and remaking materials. As a child, my siblings and I created with whatever materials we could find. We often used old dot matrix paper, wallpaper scraps, wrapping paper, and newspapers to create collages and drawings. My strongest memories are of my siblings and I gathered around the dining room table, working on our own projects while keeping each other company. As an adult, I continue to make art that reuses discarded materials like old cardboard, stained book pages, and fabric scraps.
